A-train and Joshey Poo

Is it weird I was clueless until I stepped behind my camera?

It's amazing how capturing images can remind you about the progression of life.

I stand amazed as I take photos of my friends, their children, their growing families.

I had no idea we were all so grown up.

On my most recent trip to Arizona I had the pleasure of photographing one of my homegirls and her lover.

They are professional bowlers.

Yes you read that right.

Bowlers.

Yes I glitter-banged the crap out of some old bowling shoes.

And she wore them like a champ.

They met bowling.

He proposed in Vienna.

Yes Vi- freaking-enna.

I asked Josh how he knew he loved Aimee.

What moment he knew he wanted to spend forever with her.

He replied;

"I knew I loved her the first time I laid eyes on her beautiful face. I could see her smile from a mile away and it drew me in right away.

Seriously, he means it too.

I love the way he looks at her.

And props to anyone that can make Aimee laugh like that.

Take note in the pictures......

Oh I almost forgot.

Steal my pictures, and I steal your first born.

Happy Anniversary......

Happy Anniversary.

To my Beloved Mr. Johnson.
I am off to Arizona.

Tucked inside my carry on will be the sweet card he gave me earlier.

And when I get sad this week, thinking of how I had to leave for work the day of our 3rd anniversary,
I will read it and smile.

And when I get mad this week because he doesn't feel like chit chatting on the phone,
I will read it and remember I don't always want to strangle him.
